Enterprising Opportunities CIC
is a Community Interest Company (CIC) and a
Social Enterprise that owns, manages and supports Learn to Care and
All Seasons Care Services.

a City and Guilds approved assessment and training centre,
was set up in 2002
with support from the European Social Fund and was donated to
Enterprising Opportunities in 2007.
Historically, Learn to Care has
supported learners and employers within the Health and Social Care
sector, with strong emphasis on developing basic skills (skills for
life) for those without a level 2 qualification. By targeting
the small and medium sized organisations, particularly in areas of
deprivation, Learn to Care has played a major role in supporting
employers in developing their workforce.
 All Seasons,
a domiciliary care provider,
currently provides over 700
vulnerable adults with support to remain in their own homes,
promoting independence and active lives. Direct Payments gives
the opportunity to meet the individual service users requirements
and
at the same time giving important employment and learning
opportunities to new employees.
This in real terms helps the personal
development of the employee as an individual, the organisation as a
whole and the sustainability of the business. |
